When you allow location access, HHAP uses your device coordinate to calculate nearby deals. For first-party usage analytics, that coordinate is rounded to a coarse 0.05° grid before it is stored—roughly a few miles across in northern Colorado.
Privacy
Useful data.
Not a location diary.
HHAP uses location because nearby happy hours are the point. We intentionally keep usage analytics coarse and separate from your account.
HHAP records anonymous browser-session activity such as page views, feature use, result counts, discovery mode, radius, device category, and traffic source. Analytics sessions are not tied to your HHAP account, name, or email.
We do not store precise GPS coordinates, IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, account IDs, email addresses, or the text you type into deal search.
HHAP can optionally use Google Analytics for broader acquisition reporting. That integration is off unless a GA4 Measurement ID is configured by the site operator.
